IC-F5023 VHF, IC-F6023 UHF ICOM's IC-F5023 series is ideal for small-to-mid sized systems for public safety, large industry to light commercial users. 128 channels (Max.) separated into 8 memory zones. Memory channels can be identified with the 8-character channel name and selected easily with the up/down buttons. 4 watts (typ.) front mounted speaker delivers clear and loud audio. Its slim, rackmount design allows you to install two RF modules* in one unit. The IC-FR5000 series has an internal space for installing an optional RF unit, UR-FR5000 series. Two RF modules can be installed in a chassis reducing installation space, and increasing channel capacity. They can be programmed and operated independently. The IC-FR5000 series provides a reliable 100% duty cycle operation at 25W output. When operated at the high power setting of 50W, the repeater operates with a 50% duty cycle.
